Comment submission is available to logged-in Members, and is limited to 500 words. All submissions must be written in a constructive and professional manner—respectful of others and free of offensive, slanderous, or illegal content—and may be anonymous (identified only by Username). All submissions are vetted by the site moderator, and those that do not meet the above criteria will be removed from posting or remain unposted.

If anonymity is preferred, it is recommended that submissions be free of information that could reveal the identity of the author and all persons and places connected with the author—and including the names of the locations (e.g. cities) where they reside, or have resided, and the names of the schools, districts or boards where they are, or have been, employed.

Authors of comments are identified by username, and for logged-in Members also by current teaching status (active, on leave, retired, seeking employment), job title — current, most recent, or seeking (classroom teacher, occasional teacher, administrator), and domain of teaching employment — current, most recent, or seeking (elementary, high school).

Authors of comments have the option of indicating whether or not they wish to receive an email notice in the event that another Member submits a responding comment.
